I figured something out today. The Superman theme song inspires inner strength. I was sitting here a little down about some things about this week. I was going through some songs on my computer and found the Superman theme (from the Christopher Reeve Superman era.) It was amazing how much it lifted my spirits.
Anyway, I thought I would share. I've always loved what Superman stood for. I never got into the comics much to find out the darker stuff but have always loved the idea of Superman from the portrayal by Christopher Reeve.
I have other thoughts on Superman. There have been some discussions I've had in my past as to whether he is really courageous. I won't get into that now, but maybe another time.

Hulu Rocks!!
So I was introduced to this website, http://www.hulu.com. hulu is where you can go and watch TV online. It is basically a waste of a day if you get snagged into it, but it has some good shows on it. They have both TV and Movies on there. Well they are doing the hulu Days of Summer and adding something new everyday. Like the other day they added Season 1 of Angel. Today they added one of my favorites from childhood... A.L.F. I watched the first episode. It was great. Anyway if you have some time check it out, it's pretty cool.

Funny Things That Happen
Well life is always full of funny things that happen. These little things are always making people laugh. Sometimes more laughter happens than others. Laughing is always a good thing. The most important thing is to remember them and have a good laugh when times are going a little tough.
Last night Chels and I bought drinks from Walmart to have while we watched a movie with the kids. I opened one and took a couple drinks of it. As we were cleaning up Chels asked where her drink was. I told her that I opened hers and took a few drinks and that mine was still in the bag. I thought I was pretty funny, she was a little confused as to what I was saying, but I got a laugh out of it. Chels says it wasn't funny and that it must have been the sickness that I have talking. I don't care what she says, it was funny.
Anyway, the point I am trying to get across is that we need to commit to memory those funny little things that happen.

Great Times...
We had a nice little get together for Harold tonight. It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of people there that I haven't seen for a long time. There was music, food, and friends. We got to watch Jerry do his version of Ice, Ice Baby, and then one of Jerry's friends sang a song he wrote. It was an awesome song, when it's recorded I'll pick it up. There was some hackey and just some great socializing. It was a great night.
Again, welcome home Hess. And thanks again!!
