I went to the library last week and got Animal Farm and started reading it. I got the movie from the library yesterday and we sat and watched it with the kids. The kids thought it was ok until the horse, Boxer, dies. Nicole was soooooo upset. It took me a while after the movie to get her calmed down. She was just so sad that the horse had died. Even Mason was crying during the movie when it happened.
Anyway, the book and movie are pretty good. It is an interesting concept but seems to be a cynical but somewhat accurate protrayal of things that happen with government, revolutions, etc. For those of you that have read the book, you know what I mean. For those of you that haven't, well, if you ever felt bad about eating bacon, after this you won't.
