Short Lunch Break

Well I am taking a short lunch break today because we are leaving earlier than normal. We usually leave at 4:30, but today we are leaving at 4. Which is nice because then I can get home and get some stuff done.

We finished the garden on Saturday and started looking at starting the rest of the yard but it started to rain, which in meant, time to go inside and relax. It was a good day to get things done, the kids loved playing outside. Even in the rain, that was a lot of fun. Then we watched Hook, and went to bed, that was Saturday. On Sunday you could read B's post. Basically the same stuff, chruch, family stuff, eat, play, bed. Nothing to terribly exciting.

In Sports: The Niners picked Alex Smith #1, which is a good thing. I think that I might be able to get excited about football again. It was a depressing year in sports for me, come to think of it. Niners go 2 and 14 last season and the Jazz finish in the bottom rungs of the NBA. Let's look forward and not back. The Mets took two of three from the Nationals over the weekend and start a 3-game stand at home agains the Braves. Vijay Singh won the Shell Houston Open in a playoff against Jon Daly. Would have been fun to watch. This week the PGA is headed to Avondale, La. for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
