Last night at the Cinemark theatres at Jordan Landing, there was a concert for Drum Corp International. It was a really neat show in which they did the countdown to the best over the past few decades voted on by fans at the DCI website. They showed drum corp from the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and a couple from the 2000's.
The movie can be purchased for $39 from the website click here. It was a lot of fun and we have thought about going to an actual DCI event. There is one in Denver, CO featuring some really good corps on Saturday, July 15th. There is also one in Boise, ID on the 12th but that is in the middle of the week. Anyway, it is a possible road trip that we are concidering.
Plans are in the works to buy the video but as budgets are limited, can't guarantee that it'll happen.
